BramptonEast Election Polls Are Closing
The 2026 municipal election is almost here, and BramptonEast’s election polls will be closing after advance voting ends on October 17.
I’d like to thank you personally for participating in this informal and entertainment based poll. After the website closes it’s polls, I’ll create bar graphs and will run a comparison to the actual election numbers.
The polls have been an informal way for Brampton residents to see how their communities are responding to the various municipal races. They were never intended to be scientific surveys or predictions of the election results.
Advance voting takes place October 9–11 and October 16–17, with Voting Day on October 26. Brampton
Once advance voting is complete, the election polls on BramptonEast will be closed and the results will remain available as a record of the participation.
But BramptonEast isn’t going away.
I’m planning to keep the site running with informal polls about Brampton itself.
We’ll be asking questions such as:
- What’s the best pizza place in Brampton?
- What’s your favourite Brampton park?
- What’s the best restaurant in town?
- What’s the best community centre?
- What would you most like to see in Brampton?
Some polls will be serious. Some will be completely ridiculous.
Because sometimes we need to settle the important questions.
Welcome to BramptonEast.
